Deleted Website

Well, guess I'm the first one to post in this forum

I wanted to try the Google Analytics service, but for some reason I wasn't successful in adding the tracking code as it did not got confirmed.

Tried waiting for two days first, as I read it needed 24 hours.
But.. this morning the status of the tracking code was still 'unknown'.

I tried moving the tracking code above other <script> tags. to see if that would work.

But, by accident I just deleted my 'main(?)'' website link, and its saying 'no records' now.

Is there any way I can re-add my website, or anything else?

Did mail google about it, but I guess that will take some days before I get an answer.

Did you try simply re-adding it like you did the first time you added it?

I deleted mine and had no problem re-adding. Stats were even still there.

Google seems to have removed the ability to add new profiles at this time, to help prevent any furthur delay in the current profiles' data. You can try emailing them asking for more information, as that is all I have at this time.

I did e-mail google about it, and awaiting their reply.
Will post again once I got an answer regarding this.

appearing in your account. I'd like to give you an overview about the problems you
may be experiencing:

- The "Check Status" feature is currently not accurate. If you added the code to
your pages correctly, then we are collecting data. You can make sure by seeing if
your site has set "_utm" cookies in your browser.

- If your reports aren't currently populated, they will be as soon as the next
processing run is complete. We process every 24 hours. However, due to system
changes and the high demand of Analytics, please note that your reports may be
delayed beyond 24 hours from time to time during this initial launch period. We are
aware of the issue, and are working diligently to improve system performance. Thank
you for your patience in the meantime.

- You may see some reports within a profile before others. We're populating reports
like this to get you as much information as soon as we can. If you see this, rest
assured that all applicable reports will show data soon.

- Once we catch up with the data for your account, you'll see new reports every 24
hours.

I've been waiting now for about a week already - still says: "data is being collected"...
Tried re-installing the code, yet nothing.
I still use statcounter so I don't mind waiting, but I would love to see it in action already.

I had the smae problem...

But you can understand that there will be a lot of people signing up so it will take some time for things to get going properly.

However, if you go to check your stats, even while it says "gathering info.." or whatever, and will show some informtion. Took a couple of days tho. I added another profile a few days later and it wouldn't even verify status. Then they disabled adding new profiles. If you added yours a bit late... you might have to wait some time.
