Does this really work at all

Hi there,

I wonder of others already using it. We used a very nice program too track our users and paying users. After google came we this we switched too Google Analytics. Now some weeks further it is one big mess.

I tried too find the solution with support but only get standard emails back.

The situation; we think we have about 30.000 unique users every day. Google Analytics count until 12.500.
Or we lost more as 50% and get 100% more sales. (sales grows)

Google adwords we pay for 3000 visits but analytics says we receive 156.

All tracking codes that must be there are there.

We already spent hours too get it right but there is a moment we really must give up. Before we do this we want too know of there are users that say we go 100% for this program.

We hope there is somebody who can say go for it there is nothing better then google analytics

From what I have seen, they seem to tag people (for whatever amount of time) and re-curring visits dont count. Not sure but i think thats whats happening.

Also, the tracking code is javascript and some people have javascript disabled.

Yeah, it's just extra crap in my browser that I don't want. I used Adblock to kill it.

Thanks for all the info until now. But still not clear too me. And yes some of the users have disable java. Even Analytics can tell you this. I think they use this for the more detailed information about the visitor. I used a similar program and there was a different of about 4% in what our backup counter(webstats) 1 said and the one we really use for CRM and ROI.

I am speaking here more as 50%.

Does anyone use analytics and has not this problem???

I like google analytics istead of using other web counter. I can track my convert ratio and where it mostly came from..

They're possibly catching a few more bots than you might be aware of and excluding them from the results?

ive added the code to mywebsites and the tracking numbers that they get match the numbers that our server gives us.
So do the locations and browsers and all that info, then again, we have a smaller site.
I think the analytics is a nice program, but it needs some work, it should tell which bots visit the site and possibly the ip's.
bandwith would be nice too.
