PR a burden?

So I've been doing my daily rounds on the net, bouncing around articles and reading about real estate, news, google, joomla, whatever...

You can easily see when a site is using google analytics as the status will flash the analytics address, and I have been seeing it quite a bit lately.

Quite a bit on sites with higher PR. So I suppose my question is - do you feel having a higher PR will increase the likelyhood of being invited into the program? If that's the case, I might as well forget about it. Hehe.

um first off.. what the heck is PR? Is PR page rank or somthing along those lines?

I don't know for sure, but I'd say that it's probably coincidence.
My guess is that the people that have been around long enough, and done all the work to increase their pagerank were 'early adopters' that watched for new stuff, and signed-up early.

It just sounds like you should come up, and read some of these forums at the 'top of the list' more often.

I've been seeing the analytics URL 'loading' coming up recently quite a lot as well. Google recently sent invites to some more people, so maybe they've caused a bit more of a burden on their systems - the reason they changed to invitation only. Possibly they've "overstepped the line".

None the less, I'm still pretty excited and anxious to try it out. Anyone know of a good blog with screenshots of people using it and their experiences?
