Google "feeling lucky" function on Firefox?

Hey everyone.

For some reason, the "I'm Feeling Lucky" function that was built in firefox (or at least I think it was) doesn't work anymore. I mean like if you type in "google" it will take you to google.com, or if you type in "yahoo" it will take you to yahoo.com.

When I type in a name of a site now, a yahoo page comes up which has search options on it. No matter what I enter, the same page comes up.

I would post a pic of it, but I have no idea how . Sorry for being such a noob. Here's a link to the pic though.

Anyone know how I can get that function back? It's pretty annoying. Thanks

I've just tested it and it worked fine for me.

It may be some sort of default search setting pointing to Yahoo or something that is overiding it, seems a bit weird though.

Unless your searching for Yahoo every time!

mondine is an unknown quantity at this point
Yes, something has changed the default search from Google to Yahoo. I was actually waiting for someone else to answer, because I've never really dealt with this. I always just use the Google Toolbar.
Anyway, there doesn't seem to be a simple way of changing this setting (that I've noticed), but you should be able to do it manually, if there are no better suggestions.
You'd type "about:config" (no quotes) in the address bar, and then scroll down to "browser.search.defaultenginename", right-click to modify, and change it to Google.
While you're there, look at entries like "browser.search.order.1", and see that everything is kosher, as well.
