Can't install Toolbar in firefox 1.5.0.1
I have looked through all the troubleshooting options linked to the install page, none of them are the same as the problem I am having. Also have Googled this site and the web, can find anyone else with same prob.brbrI click on "Agree and install" on this page http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/...r/install.html and nothing happens. The ONLY thing I get is a progress bar on the bottom right that last for about 1/2 second, goes away and its like I never clicked on anything. No blocked download bar across top which is what the main troubleshooting link just below "agree and install" refers to. brbrIf you go deeper into the trouble shooting you find a list of about 20 issues here : http://www.google.com/support/toolba...pic=923brbrThe only listing that is close isspan style="font-weight: bold;" /span"font size="-0"When I click on "Agree" during the installation, nothing happens. In fact, none of the buttons work." but the buttons do "work" in my case.brbrI found a link to a manual download for the file at http://toolbar1.google.com/install but it is for IE not Firefox

Thanks for the reply Andrew, it was a fresh install, no other extensions. I'll know after I try my other computer but I am guessing the prob was on Googles end. On the url that did work, I got the blocked DL bar as I should, allowed the url and all work perfect.brbrThanks,brBradbr

The same thing happened on my other computer. I am not going to worry about it, I got my Toolbar and I'm happyimg src="/richedit/smileys/Happy/10.gif" border="0" . The only thing it might be is I have Netscape's cheap Dial-up w/accelerator (I tried turning it of b4 though) which makes changes to Windows normal dialing options and routine.brbrAnyway thanks,brBradbrbrdiv 0pt none ; margin: 2px 0px; padding: 0pt; background: rgb(195, 217, 255) none repeat scroll 0% 50%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 100%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; position: absolute; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: none; cursor: default; z-index: 2147483647; left: 738px; top: 84px; display: none;" id="gtbspellmenu_0"span 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 90%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer;"dialing/spanbrspan 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 90%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer;"Darling/spanbrspan 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 90%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer;"darling/spanbrspan 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 90%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer;"tailing/spanbrspan 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 90%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer;"dealing/spanbrspan id="gtbspellmenu_edit_0" 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 90%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer;"Edbrit.../spanbrspan id="gtbspellmenu_revert_0" 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 90%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; position: static; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; text-align: left; text-indent: 0pt; text-transform: none; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer;"Revert to "dailing"/spanbr/div
