A blog in html?

Is it possible to write code in html that acts as a blog with posting abilities? If so please let me know. I am making a website and i want to have a blog as my right frame. I don't want to use blogger or any other services. What i am asking is if there is any way to force text onto a simple web page.

Not really. Just use blogger, it doesn't look that bad at all.

I think the simple answer is no. Any kind of blog needs to be powered by some kind of database.

I do, however, recommend you use Blogger. Blogger allows you to edit the HTML template of your blog, which allows you to match the exact style of your webpage.

There is a way to put a blog in the right side via HTML... You won't be able to post anything over there in straight HTML but you can write your blog and make it appear over there. However, given a VBscript or a Java script you could make it so that something could be posted using a little box that allows you to type your input and then a submit button. You wouldn't want to use VBscripting because then that would limit you to your Internet Explorer users. But if you could figure it out in Java Script then yes.

I'm just confused as to if you just want to be able to write a blog and have it appear in the right side of the page. Or if you want to be able to both type and submit the blog from the right hand corner of the screen.
