Use http://www.statcounter.com. With this stat counter you can manage and view your (traffic) visitors. You can also manage this counter and i's free.

I always use alexa to see the traffic, I think using other is more helpful, but I want my code clean, so havent use it.

Do you have CPanel? Cause if you do it should have Awstats... tells you heaps about your users. Browser, PC, location, from etc

actually right now there's a lot, but i much more prepare to statcounter and Google analytics which give much efficient results.
