a newbie question

I want to find a web hosting company that provides web design service. I've googled much and found emedianow.com. This company seems reliable but I'd like to know what the community heard of this company. Maybe somebody had or has a personal experience with them.
Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure about those guys you've found, but I happen to know a couple:

1) Yahoo hosting - worse scenario, do not recommend. They are really slow on support and don't support many features.
2) I personally use GoDaddy.com - they're fine, can use your own php.ini settings and mod_rewrite functions for friendly urls through .htaccess files.
3) hosteasier.com - My friends recommend it, so I will probably move my site to them. They have almost ALL settings turned on in php.ini that you ever may need and really fast support! Serious guys!

Have a look, you may like one of them.

Bluehost

I think bluehost offer a good web hosting service. They offer a huge hosting space and monthly bandwidth transfer so if your site will have a lot of traffic and people are accessing or downloading large files this could be the one for you.

They also have many add on scripts such as coppermine gallery, moodle and some blog and forum scripts, which enables easy creation of photo galleries, blogs, forums, content managements systems and other features on your site without having to program.

They are an American company. We are an Irish Web Design company and have used them for a few sites. I found their support to be excellent despite the different time zones.
