Simple programming question from a non-programmer
Hi,
Could someone please tell me if there's an easy way to copy a software program to a seperate folder on the same PC and have the copied version revert back to the default settings (all buttons, toolbars, windows, etc in the original locations) while leaving the original copy intact? I have a good idea for an educational software program if I could figure out an easy way to do this that works well with a wide variety of software and operating systems. To all who are kind enough to reply keep in mind I no nothing about programming. Thanks |

you would need to play around in regedit, so install a fresh copy, copy it to another folder, then copy the registry keys, an change one, then 1 will work as default and 1 will workas none default, thats how me got 2 versions of msn messenger to both work at the same time on the same computer
