Front page layout with photos on a bench?
Hi. I'm building my personal site at the moment. Because I have many different subjects on this site I would like to have a front page that leads to all of them. I came up with an idea of using Polaroid looking photo's layed out on a bench top all at twisted etc, when you hover over one it twists straight and brings it forward, then when you click it goes to a page about that subject. If you don't click on it, it twists back and goes down back to its original layer.
While looking for how to do this I found a Photo gallery made similar, Polaroid Gallery v1.01. Now it doesn't quite do what I want and it also does a lot more then what I want. So does anyone know how to adapt this (do I need to work on it in Flash? I'm quite happy to learn new skills). I don't need to auto random layout, I would like just a preset layout that I choose that I can add to when I add more pages. And instead of enlarging the images I would want them hyperlinks to my other pages. Finally, does anyone know of some more appropriate software I should use for what I want? I've attached a image of kinda how I'd like it displayed on my front page. Only obviously full page and with a different background and pictures. Thank you. Cheers, Thomas |
