well I know two places that will help you.

Have a look at:

htmlgoodies.com
sitepoint.com

Are you using a program simular to Dreamweaver and Frontpage? Or, are you using Notpad?

I suggest u use WYSIWYG HTML EDITOR like dreamweaver or frontpage.
