How to start a wiki?

Is there an easy way for someone with virtually no web design and programming skills to start a wiki? Can it be as easy as it is to start a forum that is free, ad-based and hosted by someone else?

If the answer is no, just tell me. Please don't try to teach me anything complicated.

Best thing to do is some reading. But it looks like there's some fairly simple solutions.

Thanks. I had found some wiki info at wikipedia but I am seeing the wikibook now for the first time. It looks like I might have some luck.

I ended up choosing seedwiki.com. It is exactly what I was looking for: free, though you can upgrade to a paid account, and easy, with a WYSIWYG editor. I'm happy!
