GOOGLE MAP

I am trying to develop a Google map but have been having difficulty finding information on how to achieve the desired results. Here is my map.

What I want to do is enable functionality similar to these sites.

http://xbox.clambert.org/90001

The user would input a zip code in the text box and click the search "buscar" button and it would display all our locations in that zip and the markers would display info windows when clicked.

I have already uploaded our data to our database server (MySQL), and gotten the addresses geocoded Can anybody point me in the right direction. This is the info for our hosting plan

It supports PHP, Perl, Python. I have purchased the book PHP and MySQL for Dynamic Websites by Larry Ullman and am waiting for "Google Map Hacks" to come out in January.

Can anybody help me in the meantime?
