'New' HTML?

can someone post the site, which anybody can learn the new version of the HTML.

In high school, I learned in high school the HTML. when I graduated, I heard about the newer, better version of the HTML which is much more stricter in coding.

i know that there is a website out there which teaches all the new coding to all the new people who don't know how to build a website from scratch. and this website teaches them how to do it from scratch. in the notepad preferably.

thanks in advance.

p.s. don't post the W3C website.
i have seen this website, but just can't recall what was that website name.

i will post back if the website posted on this forum is the website i have seen or not.

More links, etc: http://www.xhtml.org/ (check if any of those links on this web page is the one you are looking for.)

Maybe you have more information on the web site you are looking for, in addition to what you've said? It could narrow the search down a bit

Are you talking about the new language that Microsoft is building with Windows Vista? I don't feel like finding it for you if thats the wrong one. You might want to be more specific. Cause as of right now the Windows Vista will be the newest.

I think you're talking about XHTML (http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/). I wouldn't suggest that anyone start to learn HTML now as everything seems to be moving towards XHTML. The latest version of plain HTML, however, is 4.01 (http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/).

XHTML is where it's at

alright folks!BRhere is all i remember.BRthis website is from the Indian (India) college or something like that.BRand also it teaches old, new and all sorts of codes about websites.BRit had a redish color to the website.BRnow, i am too sure about the color of the website, but that is all i could recall.BRnow as far as i know,BRw3c is a world wide organization who keeps adding and retiring the old tags for the internet websites, as the technology becomes advanced.BRthe person who showed me this website was 9th grader who was in many level smarter than the seniors who were in the high school.BRso, i hope this information is enough to go by and help me look for that website.BRthanks.
