Unmetered Feature myth

Unmetered.
It sells does'nt it?
Unmetered, all the storage/bandwidth possible.
Does Unmetered mean Unlimited? Yes? No.
Unmetered is usually a lie, it means they dont watch it, unless of course you go over a quota, this is the same answer I get from all the Unmetered offering hosts I've come across. Unmetered to them simply means there is an invisible quota somewhere, it's an illusion.
These hosts often tend to fail.
They offer these Unmetered plans to people and when they do go over the invisible/unstated quota, they complain, the hosts lose customers, lose money, since they obviously dont have servers of unlimited capacity...

Of course this is just my simple opinion, please discuss.

in todays business world, more the transparency the more your success rate! such unmetered terminology only hides and bring in bad results!

I myself have unlimited / unmetered hosting even tough I know in reality unlimited does not exist but has its not a very improtant site at the moment, I dont worrie about it plus Ive had no problems so far.

theres no such thingsas unlimited, and with the unmetered, its has a meter, just your not told, and yes, these hosts tend to fail, same with the ones who offer 3 gig space and 20 gig bandwith for $3 a month, i would rather go with some host like

thats were im hosted, it may not be as cheap but heck is it reliable, no downtime, no lagging etc
