Hello,

Do you know a good web host?

I asked the same question as this on several forums and wasted a lot of time, effort and money. None of them seem to be satisfying... not that all are bad... maybe it was by bad luck.. that i encountered some of the bad ones...

any way... i did comeup with a solution. START YOUR OWN WEB HOST.. ha ha!! Really... i started my own web host. Its located at www.ISPLhost.net.

I understand that not every body can lease a root server for them selves.. so I have also decided to help the one who suffered like me. Ofcourse i cannot give it for free... because I need to pay for my server, plesk control panel, antivirus, sitebuilder and lots of other features i have decided to add as standard on my service.

But it is literally impossible for me to make my server (or service) the best with other suggestions... so please help me out here. I need suggestion to make my service the best.

AND FOR THE ONES (webmaster) WHO THINK THIS IS AN ADVERTISEMENT PLEASE VISIT WWW.ISPLHOST.NET IT HAS NOT EVEN BEEN RELEASED YET.

Also.. help me set the price and other limits.

Dear Eric, Thanks for the vote! You know what... I was the first one to choose that option! If I realize that I am not a freak I might get scared and get away right? So let me be freak for some more time.. atleast till the time I can afford to be one! ha ha.. any thanks for your vote.

Now let me tell everybody more about my plans... first... when i decided to start my own host (its a long story why i decided to start one) i was a complete idiot on that matter... i knew nothing... so what i could do was get a reseller account.... and I got it from names.co.uk they had a plan wher i could use their controlpanels and webmail and then put my own brand... i pas about 80 not dollors pounds...yup!! and then decided to calcel it after learning to use it... but when i emailed them about 3-4 days before billing date they did not reply.. then came saturday.. and sunday.. so guess what.. they charged me one extra months.. just... like that.. and i did not even use the service... then... some other companies and i landed with 1and1.. its preety good.

Then.. when i saw.. it was a root server... which meant I had to manage it all (and yes i am still an idiot!!) so.... i looked up on various... forum.. the best guides i could find were on forums .. i simply love them.... ther i learnt that i needed to setp my own nameservers... and what would they be.. no idea.. then.. somebody told me about that to... and solved.. next was.. ptr records for the ip and blah blah.. so i decided.. if was to continue being a freak (i loved you post eric.. thanks man!) i had be a better one.. so bouth some books... this one was... DNS and bind.. by paul albitz and cricket.. and other one rh fedora linux bible by christopher negus.. and some other books... putting all the efforts on my server.. with about 19 hours on it a day... i all most broke up with my girl.. ( i had to write a preety long email today, and i am going to see her t'morow -- hopefully)... and now.. i am atleast ok at dns and bind and plesk.. and some fedora.. and then came that i need to learn php and mysql too.. or else!! so i did that too.. but darn! php and mysql are'nt so eay as dns and bind.. but i am not it.. i have re-imaged by server about 32 times by now.. and i just did it now.. now all the http request gave me a zero sized reply.. i have solved it now though....
