I haven't taken that step yet. But these guys have 1 month trial for free. I think it is only UK customers who can purchase at the moment but it could be different since the last time I checked:

Hm ... serverpoint.com seems a reputable company to use a VPS from them.
They offer them at low cost prices on Linux and Windows OSs and any web master may use a VPS the second month freely.
And wanna ask you of the VPS deals that glowhost.com offers, how reliable are they?
They were recommended to me as the company with stable servers that are fully redundant and scalable.
