I can host your site for free, and you can get a domain from yahoo or many other sites for very little money.

dot.tk
You can get a free dot.tk redirection for your site that is easy to remeber. For example www.gloog.tk. The site is OK except it puts your site in a frame with an annoying advert...
The thing which is best about it is that it is free. For example, most free website hosting/redirection give you a domain name like: http://gloog.bravehost.com which can be quite hard to remeber... I would recomend this at the moment, but if you know any other sites which offer free redirection hosting with a free .co.uk or .com domain name please let me know, because .tk is hardly a common domain name at the moment... |

Okay, I am finally ready to pay money for a domain name and host. I looked at Bravenet.com, and they give you a free domain name with 1 year of hosting subscription. Does anybody know of some really good webhosting/domain name packages?

Well, then it wouldn't be free. You would have to pay for the domain. The domain can be transfered at anytime (unless you are locked in by ICANN for obvious reasons)so it's not like it's going to be locked.

Don't go with a free domain for life -you end up paying a fee to move to a new host. I had a free for life domain name when I first bought hosting man I felt trapped. If you choose a host based on owning a domain for life you might want to reconsider.
