maybe because of your computer or your connection.....have you tried to use other pc?

maybe a virus or your computer or it is updating itself from fighting against virus on the computer or maybe something is wrong with your server.

I think there is problem with your connection. Did you use broadband connection?

Depends upon your Bandwidth Data Transfer. Most probably it will be much much slower on Dial Up's rather than on Broadband Connection.

No issues on the YouTube Part, but it all varies on how much bandwidth you are accessing the same.

Yeah, virus or spywares may also one of the reason why your connection got slow.

It could be possible that your internet connection is of slow speed.But you can increase your browsing speed by using this:

This tip will work for FireFox Browser

1. Type about:config in address bar and press enter
2. in displayed list select following change following options values as given
network.http.pipelining : true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequest : 30
network.http.proxy.pipelining : true

After applying these changes you will see that your browsing speed has been increased.
