We have installed a cash modification which allows you to earn GC$ (Google Community Dollars) for being active on the forums. I won't reveal the specifics on how much you earn because I tweak it constantly, but just post as usual and you will see the virtual "cash" you earn.
Remember, GC$ is just a little extra bonus on top of the excellent community and knowledge you will gain from using this forum.
Here are some rules:
- Don't try to spam.
- There is a limit on the number of posts you can earn GC$ for in a certain time period.
- If you meet the quota, you can still post without earning GC$.
- Write longer, more thoughtful posts. Quality over quantity.
You can spend your GC$ in the GC Shop and trade it via donations.

Either you can go to your profile or just look below your avataar at the end you will find out Gc you own

This looks like a pretty cool idea. I'm new and online rewards have never apealed to me being in NZ where they never apply but this could be more meangful than ranks.

I love the idea of using the GC$ because it helps stimulates the forum. I also love this forum because it has just about everything. This was one of the best ideas.

The shop is re-stocked from time to time. The idea is to be prepared with enough GC$ for when an item becomes available.

What a brilliant idea for motivating a forum. I wounder if any
other forum do it. It is a very very good idea (this was nto a
post to gain GC, just a post to say what a flipping good idea!)
