Doesn't World of Warcraft have a monthly fee? I have never played it for that sole reason. In my vote book would go Civilization IV... only because I have spent ridiculous amounts of time on it. There was also Ultima VII and Fallout 2. Absolute Classics. But my number one game of all time would have to be Darklands... I think from MicroProse? Best game ever, and revolutionary for its time. How many petitions were there to make a sequel? And even in the owners manual it said that there would be, but that never happened. Even with all the bugs that it had and every problem it had (I had to have the whole game re-sent to me because of errors, 10 3.5" floppy disks!) it was still an awesome game. If someone were really smart in that industry, they would think about a re-make or a sequel. |

Yes you are right it has a monthly fee  but its very nice RPG game
I agree with Civilization IV its the greatest strategy game ever...! I have spend lots of hours on it too.

I guess I'm more of a retro gamer, but best ever might go to either Ms Pacman or Super Mario Brothers. Oh, and Tetris.

I used to be hooked on Devil May Cry when the Playstation 2 console was still very popular here in our place. I'd spend hours just trying to slug it out with the nasty creatures trying to kill Dante. But with the advent of games like WOW and Warcraft frozen Throne gaming priorities started to shift. Now there are a lot of excellent multiplayer games that can be chosen from.
