Hi,
I'm having a huge problem which i reported to GMail Support but all i get in reply are automated messages. Which haven't been of any help.
The problem is that i can't access the GMail website. I've been using Mozilla and Internet Explorer, but neither seems to work. I searched for solutions on the internet and GMail support \ help sections and tried everything that was suggested, e.g. cleaning cache and cookies and going to the basic HTML version etc etc etc. STILL nothing seems to help. In fact i registered with this forum because i couldn't log into the GMail Help Group.
I don't seem to have the problem with any other websites though. I've been using GMail for a long time now and its my main e-mail address, with all my contacts, and i'm extremely desperate for a way to solve this problem.
Mozilla, which is my main browser says, "Problem loading page - The connection has timed out.". IE says "Cannot find server." and Google Talk says "Could not connect to the Google Talk service (error 1)." or "Could not authenticate server." I've tried every different URL available to access the website, still nothing.
This problem occured suddenly about 4 days ago. Nothing has changed or been changed on my computer. I know that i haven't been locked out of my account and its still active, as i am capable of accessing GMail from a mobile phone and all my e-mail's still get forwarded to an old e-mail address.
Help would be greatly GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks.

Hmm, weird problem..! Sounds more like a problem with your Internet Provider who might has some problems reaching the Gmail website. Try to access is through this portal, maybe it works:
http://www.polysolve.com/
Just enter the URL, gmail.com and proceed. Otherwise I'd advise you to contact you ISP. |

THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!
Polysolve worked. I was beginning to suffer from withdrawal symptoms after not being able to get into GMail.
Your help is appreciated. _________________ "It's better to be insane and know it, than sane and have one's doubts." |

Haha, no problem.
That means that the Gmail website gets somehow blocked by your provider or maybe a system administrator.. Maybe you can check it with them.
But for now, enjoy Gmail! |
