Dear,
who are know "the spam cop" organization?
I want to know their mail address,and web address.
because of i received some spams at my Gmail now.
some are wearing the mask as my friends name.
Absoultely we depend upon on Gmail,which should be standard,at the moment.
I worry really.
Google will be close my account.
By another way,google server does not work and down about this spams.
so,I want to contact and solve if I can,
at last month,Yahoo gotten the same problems,you will remember.
so,
let's we solve together.

Spam Cop is a company that takes reports of spam, and lists the IP addresses they came from.
They provide services for filtering email for spam, automatic spam reporting, and making available their lists of spamming IP address for use by ISPs for blocking the source of spam.
On the issue of receiving spam from forged 'from' addresses, this is not unusual. A spammer probably harvested your address and that of your friends from the same public place.
It is a trick some spammers use, to create forged 'from' addresses out of the same addresses to which they are sending spam. But the IP address won't match, so that shouldn't be a problem for the real owner of the address.
I hope this answered at least some of your questions.

In the moment this week,i did inquiry this web.
In My heart Opinions,
i want to complain this spams.
because of some spams were the great site.
e.g ofoto.com(kodark photo)
whatever i will try.
