I was reading through adsense policies, and it says:

Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads.

However, google adsense optimization tips also says that: The best way to optimize is to blend the ad with content. So I am bit confused. My site has adsense with text wraped around it. Also saw lots of websites using the same feature.

So just to make sure; Is blending and wrapping the text around adsense allowed or not?

It's allowed, as long as it doesn't look like it's referring to the Google ads.
E.g. If you put:

[Google Ads]

[link]

You could claim that you really meant to say click the link, but it looks like you've said click the ads.

Don't put the graphic that say "CLICK HERE" too! That would be a bad idea!

thanks for bringing this to my attention! On my site I put some text above my ads that kind of makes the google ads look like part of my site. It is at www.mentalhealthplanet.net. Is this against google TOS? Please let me know if it is so I can change it! Thanks!

I don't see any problem with blending the ads on your site. as long as you don't ask your visitors to click on it and you also don't click on it, I think it'll be ok. to be sure, read the Terms and Condition. Smile

As long as you don't ask your users to click on the ads or some how
make seem like you want them to click your ads, then you will be fine.

Blending is the key to adsense!  If it fits right into your site,
you are golden.  Remember, AdSense looks like regular text links
that can easily fit right into your website!

OK. I wrote the google, and they replied. They said the ads on my site are OK and does not violate TOS. But still bit confuse as it states in the TOS "text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads." It says text in your content confused with adsense. So is it OK for adsense to be mistaken as content and not OK for content to be mistaken as adsense?????

Think about some space between your text and the ads!
