when i type my user name and password the area is left blank and there is no response.apart from orkut i also cant access other login sites like internet usage status and cant delete or compose mails in yahoo mail.
please help me and do suggest any changes i should make in settings.

Are you sure you had actually selected the text box in question? This happened to me as well. Click on the text box. You should see an I cursor. Then type in your username and password.
That's all I can think of.
