Like any electronically-stored data, they are easy to store, transport and share. Not much to 'how they work'. Pages of text are displayed on a screen, and you read them.
I guess some people find this handy. They can have a book at home or work, and read a chapter over lunch or on a break;
or just to read while sitting at their desk, or more comfortably, with a laptop.
Me, I just can't get really comfortable with the format. I still prefer the paper variety, in a comfy armchair, or snug in bed.
I find it's more relaxing, and easier on the eyes. _________________

Thanks for the definition but I agree with you. Old paper style is miles better. Computers are taking over the world!! _________________ Aisling xoxo |

| They now have programs that will allow your ebooks to work on cell phones, i pods, gameboys. You can even make the ebooks more kid friendly look for kids. |
