I am, by all means, no SEO expert but I've normally never had any issue simply getting any site I've designed indexed. Lately however google has been just crapping on me. My site at www.liquilife.com has just been removed from the Google index. Why? I have no idea. I have a valid sitemap even created that has been in use for about a month. Even before the site was removed only the home page was indexed by google.
I'm just sorely confused here. Does google require that other sites link to me before it will index my site? If so... why? What happened to the good ol' days when Google just simply indexed your site?

Usually there is a reason... you propably find top 10 reasons with google. So there is your checklist.
My first guess would be that you have links from/to 'bad neighbourhood' , so check your links in and out.
You can find your inbound links by typing link:mywebsite.com to Google.
If you can't find a reason you can send a request to Google to reindex your page. Link to that form was somewhere in the posts of googlecommunity.

Your home page is back on google now, keep building up backlinks to get good rankings and build up backlinks to the other pages of your site to get them indexed.
