I do need help. I have submitted my website url to google directory and dmoz. but I can't search my url from these directory. and why? |

You'll have to give it some time for Google. Maybe a couple of weeks before your url shows up. I'd better warn you, it can take months to get listed in DMOZ, if, in fact, you get listed at all.

I'd say a couple of weeks, for Google, and several months on average for DMOZ. I've been trying to get listed in DMOZ for over 3 years.

I'm confused. Are you talking about the Google SE or directory, or both? In order to get listed in the Google directory you'll need to be listed in Dmoz. Dmoz can take anywhere from 2 days to well over 2 years. You'll have a better chance of being crawled by G than being listed in the Dmoz/Google directory.  |

I got EVERY PAGE of my site() indexed in google within a couple of weeks. It is VERY simple, and google gives you the tool to do it. It is called "sitemap". Check it out, it worked for me! By the way, i submitted to dmoz a LONG time ago, nothing yet. [edit] removed the link from the post
