| Sorry if this is redundant, I'm new to Gmail and I'm loving it so much more than hellish Entourage. Anyway, I'm just wondering what happens to our current beta accounts when Gmail goes 'out to public?' Do we simply just have to start monthly payment to keep our accounts? Do we have to sign up all over again? Do we lose our freebie trial run? Any help would be greatly apprciated, thanks! |

Thoes are some really good questions, nobody knows...
Offcourse we can say anything but we don't know for sure...
Maybe we should ask Google...

Like Neno.tu said, we don't know, only Google knows. However, I don't think we will lose our accounts. If they do that all the betatesters will be quite angry with Google. So you don't have to be afraid you will loose your account.
It could be a possibility that Google is going to charge us for the accounts. However I don't think they will do that because it would really upset the community.
If you want to know for sure you could always ask Google, however I doubt that you will get an answer to your question. _________________ I love new messages, don't you? |

1) No, Gmail will always be a free email service. Some features, such as email forwarding and POP3 access, may require a small fee.
2) No, Google has said all existing Gmail users will get to keep their accounts. |

| That is sweet. I was getting worried there myself from this post. But I dont think that Gmail will ever be a paid service because of the Google Adsense they keep on every page. It would make them a lot of money. |
