Create content... valuable to your users and not pasted from some other site.
Organize a contest.
Thats about it. Everything else comes to that first tip.
You get higher ranking in Google when you got content - more traffic
More people will find your page and with good content they will advertise it in blogs and forums - more traffic
People who search for information and find your page worthy will propably link to it - more traffic
All these wonderful things will happen if you put your back to it and create content. You say your site is commercial and you only have products... well tell people how they can use those products, get articles about testing etc.
And last but not least: Have patience!

It would have been better if you could have mentioned what your site is about. Anyways the general tips to increase site traffic are get quality incoming links, optimize for relevant keywords phrases, update content at regular intervals and advertise your site.

> join webmasters forum, (though there is the rel=nofollow attribute for spam protection) it still helps to being popular
> optimize your content(as said above)

Here's some of my best free ways to generate traffic:
1. Write articles and submit to article distribution sites.
2. Submit to free web directories.
3. Add a blog to your site and ping popular sites like Pingomatic.
4. Find forums related to your site's topic and put a link in your signature.
5. Bookmark your site on social bookmarking sites like Blinkbits, Rawsugar, del.icio.us, etc.

There are still a lot to consider in drawing traffics to your site. Have you done your searching on the google forum re this topic? i've read threads that concerns most on creating traffics, how to optimize content.
Have you tried asking other webmaster expert to visit your site and review it? If not click here, web critiques are generally interested in this forum.
