I use Miranda IM
they have a jabber protocol plug-in,but I can't seem to get it to work

I have done all of the instructions I can find at the "Other IM clients" site.
I have added my username and password
I have added Miranda as the client
I have added gmail.com to the server
I have added the talk.google.com as connect server
I have added port 5222
from the developer of the plugins site I have added all the ssl libraries and such for Jabber
I don't think the client has the proper tls or something can anyone confirm this??
miranda-im.org client and plug-ins are there

maybe I am just doing it incorrectly

I sent a request to put Miranda on the list of apps to use as "other IM clients" within 2 hours they had done it and added instructions to the google talk website
