When I click inbox, it launches my browser and opens my gmail. When I click the envelope icon it pops up gmail to send a message to the user.

When you click the envelope, it envokes your web browser also? i didn't know if Google Talk had a little email interface built into it or something...

I'm using Opera 8.10 and nothing happens when I click "inbox"... Sometimes it opens, with nothing in the adress field.

I am having the same problem as dep. Clicking on inbox does nothing. Clicking on envelope next to a contact does nothing.

I am having a similar problem with Google Talk. Whenever I click on a mail link (inbox or folder icon) it opens up the Google Messenger shortcut folder. With the run program icon and the uninstall icon.

I use IE and Firefox.

Just noticed, actually. It opens that folder whenever I click a link that has to take me out to the net.

Just tried it with the account settings section.

Same problem over here, using IE along and tried with maxthon. click on inbox or any link that should launch a browser within gtalk does not work. Not sure if the problem is with Gtalk, or possibly specific to something maxthon has done, even when I think I am using IE alone

I'm not gonna sweat it now, simply because this seems to be a widespread problem. If it was just me I would be concerned. If there is a product update I would appreciate it if someone would post because I have 0 confidence my "Check for update" feature works.

Thanks
