Greetings:
I've downloaded the GoogleTalk software, and installed.
When I login my Username and Password a message says my account is locked. It forwards me towards my Google Account where I can not find where it states something is locked.
Can someone give me step by step information on how to unlock an account?

I can't login either. It keeps on saying, 'Could not authenticate to server' retry cancel.
What the heck is the problem????????? |

| I'm experiencing the same problem. Is G-talk incompatible with dial-up? The funny thing is that I'm able to connect using other Jabber clients but not Gtalk. |

Google says it's compatible with dialup but,

Try again later as it's probably a connection issue with the servers at Google, nothing to call the FBI about.

Funny thing re this prob i wanted to share with you all.... i installed gtalk on my win2000 machine - everything's perfecto!
in installed gtalk and the maltop which runs win xp home - and it has that auth problems - doesn't connect at all... so then i loaded xp on my win 200 desktop.... gtalk works fine on my win 2000 os, when i boot to win xp it doesnt work at all.. give the auth error.
And it isn't a firewall issue either... wierd ...  |

| downloaded google talk few days back it worked well , but now i'm getting the 'can't authenticate to server' error message all this after i sent out a heap of invites . Has anyone got any clues on the fix -- im using firefox on windows XP and i have a gmail account which still logs in and out |

| It happens to me sometimes. I guess it's a casual and frequent occurence. Just be patient and wait for it. It eventually becomes successful in establishing a connection with the server. |
