Just got my hands on the game Manhunt - perhaps the most violent game i have ever seen. Features really brutal executions. Wondering if any game could be as violent as this one. sorry i earlier posted this post in a wrong category. _________________ http://clubcornor.blogspot.com/

Well try playing Postal 2. That game is out of line and got banned here in Aus. I think it would be a contender to Rockstars manhunt. _________________

Erm... why do you huys love violence? It seems that you'd rather be a criminal for all the things you're talking about. _________________

It's because doing it in a game is legal, whereas slaughtering someone with a chainsaw in real life is not legal.
It's just one of these things that some people find fun. _________________ Football Rumours | Gloog |

Ah. Now that reflects your violent nature.
Anyway, thanks for replying and telling me about it. _________________

How many games are there out there that are not violent yet still fun to play? Even almost all sports games have some sort of violent theme behind it...Just because someone does something in a game doesn't mean they are going to turn around and do the same thing at a school the next day. People need to get it through their heads that just because someone does something in a game doesn't mean that they really want to do it somewhere else. _________________ Sometimes I get the urge to run around naked....then I drink some windex and it keeps me from streaking. |

exactly i agree with puppynut5....playing some violent game doesnt mean one would do it in real life ! @IamtheKing : infact on the basis of 'your' logic would you say that the game creators had done something as brutal as the game in real life ? _________________ http://clubcornor.blogspot.com/

Yes, I have also played Manhunt, before it was banned in Australia. I found it to be an EXTREMELY violent game, with VERY brutal executions. I found the game to be quite boring after a while though - it gets real repetative! _________________

At puppynut5 and playvibes -
Er... no. Of course its not that I think you'll do all those violent things yourself in real life, just because you do it in all those games. That depends upon you, in the end. It doesn't have much to do with the kind of games you play, except that they might influence you.
In fact, playvibes is kind of right. I really don't like violent games, and that sort of plays a part in why I don't understand others liking them. Anyway, I've been told I'm too young to properly understand human nature. _________________

I like RPGs. Some violence, but not gory executions. _________________
