I have, but should do so again, if I come across some copies.
There's quite a bit I've forgotten, since I read the series a little over 30 years ago. _________________

It goes without saying that the first novel can be REALLY REALLY REALLY BORING for some, me included. Tried reading the first book about 3 years ago, can't even get to the middle even until now.
Nah, not really interested in the movie, and neither the book. Narnia sounds pretty much better. _________________ Hello? Is this microphone on? Testing testing one two three...

Like Cat I tried to read the first book but it was just too long and complicated. I much prefered the movies. The battle scenes just blew my mind!! I did read The Hobbit though which I thought was brill because it didn't go into so much detail and was the right length and everyhting. I love Narnia as well though. We have the whole collection at home. The new movie is exactly how I imagined it in the book ; like the queen, the woods, the wardrobe, the centaur etc. You don't get very close to Aslan in it though, so the ending isn't as sad as in the book. _________________ Aisling xoxo |

I think I watched the first few films then got bored, I tried reading some of the books and I struggle to read most books due to problems with my concentration anyway, but lord of the rings actually went out the window |
