I've been using Opera as my web browser. While I have a Google toolbar installed on IE, I can't seem to install it on the Opera Browser. I really like Opera, is there another browser that is similar to Opera that is compatible with the toolbar? Or is there a hack I can use?

Unfortunately, Google hasn't yet got their Toolbar ready for Opera. You can only install it on Firefox and IE.

I believe it is due to the lack of popularity of Opear when comparing to IE and FF. But I am sure you can find some plugins in Opera website that try to do what Google toolbar does.

PS. Of course it won't be 100% the same

Let me see...in EU Opera has approximatelly half of popularity that all browsers based on Gecko (not only Firefox) enjoy...
What were you saying?

Well, we could probably make a city level graph on which browsers are used per city in the entire world. But WHO CARES!!!!!!
As long as your website works with all, you're alright. But either way, people look at the big picture (globally).

Well...the thing is Google pages doesn't work with Opera as well with Firefox. There are some quirks with Gmail, and a bit bigger with Googlemaps for example...

Opera is great even w/o google browser. Anyways, the upper part in it (the bars) is even now too high. With a toolbar.. ehh.. I don't need it.

I am a Macintosh user and enjoy the Google Toolbar in Firefox. I was completely satisfied with the set up until my wife kept raving about the new Opera. I downloaded Opera 9 and I am totally sold on Opera as my main browser. In my opinion Opera as of 9 is the BEST end user browser out there today. Firefox is fast and full of great features but has some catching up to do. At this point Opera is MUCH faster and feature rich. The only thing that would make it even better, for me, would be a Google Toolbar. Hope to see it soon. But even without the Toolbar it is still way worth the download.
