I just checked my link popularity. Found that I have no backlinks from google. However I have from msn and altavista. Does that mean my page is not indexed by google?

No, you can be indexed, and not have any apparent backlinks, according to Google.
There is a lot of speculation about the exact criteria that they use to determine these,
Pagerank of the linked site, the length of time the link has existed, etc.
But just about any site will show fewer backlinks from Google, compared to other search engines, or none at all.
