I have always enjoyed writing fanfiction for a variety of shows, movies, and the such. Back in the Buffy days I wrote a lot of stories surrounding Willow's journeys and her friendship with Xander. But lately as I try to write more stories not related to a show or something of that sort I have been frustrated with the worst case of writer's block.

Not only am I having problems writing my own stories based on my own characters but even when I go back to fanfiction I just get stuck.

Any advice out there to cure a bad case of block?
