This is a little dated, but isn't it just absolutely hillarious that Microsoft was priding itself with being crack proof because its new software and OS calls home. Recently across the crackz and underground forums they have released a cracked version of Windows Vista RTM - dubbed the 'Bill Gates' version that allows them to use beta keys to use the final release.
While this is easily fixed by Microsoft, you have to admire their vigor to crack it before it is even released to the public. Office 2007 on the other hand has also been cracked and more effectively. A hint to Microsoft though, as long as there has been secure software ... it has been cracked.
I personally am going to start spending more time on my Mac and avoid the full upgrade to Vista as long as possible, but this still gave me a nice long laugh. I felt like Nelson from The Simpsons.

Whether theres games software etc.there will always be a crack for it to get around whatever protection.Why companies bother securing software? its gonna be bypassed anyway. they just make the ones pay for it that dont know how to crack it, while the ones that do just laugh in MS' direction or whatever company! Its a Nelson laughing matter, i agree

True I aggree! I don't think any software will EVER be 100% crack proof!

No software ever will be crack proof. But by doing it, it will slow the masses down and it will take more and more intelligence needed to use the crack. I don't know why any company would ever declare theres uncrackable... Even if once cracked it can't be used properly it can still be cracked eventually. I wouldn't use this as a point to promote Mac's though... Macintoshes have been placed more and more in the spot lights. They brag about how there aren't many security flaws in there system. But yet right after they bragged about it some user put his up and dared someone to hack into it. 20 minutes later his machine was hacked and taken over... The reason why there aren't very many viruses or security flaws in Macs is because no one takes the time to find them. It's not worth their time and effort because not very many people use them and there aren't very many businesses running a Mac server. Therefore the hackers not going to spend much time hacking a Mac or creating a virus for it.
