What a fantastic idea, I think all forums should
have this on it as it makes the whole forum experience enjoyable. |

Well I think this can be made a little more innovative I did not see a place of ideas and new innovations. Can anyone tell me how this can be triggered as I plenty of ideas and would like Google community to implement them if they find it feasable |

I'm sure GC has some method to prevent pointless comments/posts as you mentioned. Speaking of which, what difference is ur above comment different from the "pointless posts like yes, no, nice, etc"?

Totally agree with jeena71 - i tink it should be measured upon:
- Relevance to the topic
- "Intelligence" to the topic - it can be how accurate the information provided is, etc
- "Timing of response" - how fast the user responds when it is required of him/her
I'm sure there are other criteria which we can measure against. But these are just the 3 which pop out of my head

How should a computer measure the relevance of a post to the topic? By searching for specific keywords? That wouldn't be too good, since relevant posts might still have not much in common with the topic subject and original post. _________________

hm, relevance in the sense that the person who makes a response actually answers the questions, or make a comment that is actually relevant or useful. Although this cannot be done automatically YET, but i guess users can provide feedback - i guess the GC$ function is doing it, but i guess the measurement or earning of GC$ is still not accurate enough.
just an opinion. wat do other people think? |

Still, if someone does spam for GC$, an alert member can always spot the post and report it to an administrator or moderator.
That isn't too hard. _________________
