I definitely agree that football wins hands down. Every country has a sport to call its own but in every corner of the globe you will definitely see some kids playing with their feet kicking a ball. Aside from the Olympics the World Cup is the biggest sporting event. It is one of the few events that can gather people from all nations to watch and celebrate their teams, which may not necessarily be their own countries.

I agree. Football/soccer(US) is the winner. Especially with English Premier League, which I think it is the most fresh football competition in the world.

Ya the world's most popular game is indeed FOOTBALL.This game has totally got its own fancies.This is also calles Soccer in America.This creates a huge confusion aming people who fail to understand that the sport is the same but with only a changed name.

My favourite football or otherwise known as soccer team is Brazil at the intenational level and Manchester United a English club in the national level.I'm a true fan of this game and I bet I've got more Football kowledge than most of you.Of course there are people having having more knowledge about the sport but this is my opinion.

well the most popular sport in the world is infact football.

but i dont like it much though there are millions of people who like the game.

there are other popular sports like cricket ,lawn tennis etc.

but football is much more popular,i suppose,atleast here in india.

it is my life!!!!!!!!!
But in USA ppl call Football for Rugby..........
this creates a lotta confusion among ppl around but it it is undoubtedly the best sport!!!!!!

I have too agree with you guys!!
It can be observed during a match.In a cricket match rarely the stadium is crowded with people and in soccer games,my god the stadium is dame crowded with people and during hockey matches there is hardly any people bothered about it.
So guys hats off to Soccer !!!
