Hello

My site is nearly 6 years old and until recently I have had no trouble with Google rankings .

Last week my Google ranking were not showing and yesterday they were back. Today they are gone again!

Google visits regularly, sometimes once a day and a week at the most. The latest seems to be 5 Dec, albeit it visited on the 4th as well.

Can anyone please explain the latest thinking on this behaviour? (or direwct me to a thread) Is it happening to everyone else?.

It is a pain when you get a few minutes to look for directory links only to discover you have been turned down because of ratings.

Oh, and I notice the cached date when it appears is actually a week behind. For example, I looked at a cached file today and it was created on the 4th. Yet in the next couple of days I may see it again and it will be cached for the 8th (today id the 10th). There seems to be a time lag.

Don't worry, its happpen when Google dancing or Google update the data center, some people said it Sandbox Shaking. It could be change your position on Google and change your PageRank

So where does this leave me. Wait again?

I have 86 first places in google, 40 2nd and 10 third. I would have thought by now my rankings would have stabalised. Working frantically to get more inbound links as added a while new section and taken one off. This should attract links.
New section has been picked up. Only one position for new section, but not expecting many.
Also haven't yet covered all keywords for my search.

Rankings are back again today. This is crazy!!
Yes I will stop worrying as long as my positions maintained.
