Come on microdude... Ashes is Selling her GC$ for something she needs...
Like when I gave you mines for a .INFO domain... If Ashes doesn't start double posting, double threading, posting this on the wrong forum, then IT IS NOT SPAM...
Ashes is one of us... Spammers or Scammers are i-solutions and guys like that...
So don't waste our time fighting... Is childish, and is not healthy...
Let's just take a deeeeeeep breath..... **ahhhhh**
And move on **EXALES**

She wasn't spamming, I second that, I'm just frustrated with the influx of free iPod offers...
EDIT: err...free iPods is not so good...all of the offers they are telling to sign up for require credit card numbers... _________________ "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get it's pants on." - Winston Churchill |

Ashes I'M SORRY...
 |
It was perfectly honest mistake. No harm no foul. :)

Well, the affiliates are all businesses. And businesses, need some way to pay for their services.
Truth be told though, I made sure not to do one of them that corresponds directly through freeipods. Rather the affiliate sends freeipods a notice saying their referral completed an offer.
It takes a few weeks longer, but it gurantees that my credit card number is completely safe. |

Don't know... ancestry sent me an email... I didn't gave my CC and dropped on that step...
if you all let me, (is not for earning GC$, I don't need them really), I'm going to post the email they sent...
| Quote: | Dear Xxxxx Xxxxx:
Thank you for your interest in Ancestry.com - the #1 place to discover your family tree. Not only can we offer you the largest collection of family history records on the web, we can help you uncover new and exciting information about your ancestors.
Do you know when your ancestors first arrived in America? Or how they survived through the Great Depression? Was one of your ancestors a decorated war hero? Are you related to anyone famous?
Using the resources available at Ancestry.com, you can solve all sorts of family mysteries. And we want to help you along the way. So let's get started.
Your current username and password is:

What can I do at Ancestry.com?
Let us search for you
The My Ancestry "People I'm Looking For" feature allows us to help you in the search for your ancestors. Simply list what you know about your ancestors, then sit back and let us do the searching. We'll regularly search our databases on your behalf and then send you emails whenever we find possible matches.
Click here to add more information to your My Ancestry Search Profile or to view any names that have been added for you by our genealogists.
Share information with the largest family history community on the web
Did you know that there might be thousands of other people who are looking for the exact same ancestors as you? You can use the Ancestry.com Message Boards to tell the community who you are looking for. You might be amazed at the response you receive. There are over 15 million messages from researchers who have shared their family information, experiences and expertise over the last two decades.
Have you tried our new ranked search?
Ancestry.com offers two powerful search methods - Exact Match and Ranked Search. A Ranked Search will help you find your ancestors quickly and easily because it places the best possible matches first on your list of search results. Ranked search automatically returns alternate spellings and abbreviations for your ancestor's name(s). For example, a search for "Bill Smith" might return "William Smith," "Wm Smith," "Bill Smyth" or "B. Smith." A ranked search will also give you results according to proximity. So it's okay if you don't know the exact date or location.
Access free information including the following databases:
* 1880 US Federal Census - View original census documents and find information about your ancestors' health, education and family relationships.
* Ancestry World Tree - Someone may have already completed part of your family tree. You can search more than 250 million names in the family trees submitted by our users. It's the largest collection of its kind on the Internet.
* England and Wales Civil Registration Index - Nearly a third of all Americans can trace their family history back to England. Search for your ancestors in indexes of birth, marriage and death records for England and Wales between 1837 and 1983.
Helpful email communications
As an Ancestry.com user, you will receive the following free email communications:
* Alerts (information about the people you're looking for)
These email communications can help you with your research by giving you information about the people you are looking for. They also offer family history research articles, tips and special promotions. However, we want to make sure you receive only the communications you want. To control what comes in to your inbox, visit our Communications Preferences page.
Ancestry.com wishes you success and many discoveries as you search for your ancestors.
Regards,
Patrice Clark, Marketing Manager

i got 0/11. they dont want to enter their credit card numbers. yet, there are offers in freeipods that requires CC but they will not charge you when you dont use their services. One offer that i signed-up for myself is 'Infone' - no monthly charges and wont charge you if you dont call them. I'm still trying to convince my friends about this offer but they still don't want it. _________________ :: southbayblvd.com :: |
