I was wondering how to make that small image to the left of the URL. On this site, its the little GC in a square. I want to make one for my site, and im hoping its an easy thing to do. It looks pretty cool.

Thanks,
Brent

It's a favicon.

Make a 16x16 icon using a program that allows you to make .ico files. I suggest Icon Maker.

Then you put <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.yourdomain.com/favicon.ico" /> (don't use the space then forward slash if you use HTML rather than XHTML) note that you don't need to call it favicon.ico unless you don't use this code. Some browsers automatically search for favicon.ico whenever you visit a domain.

All you need to do is upload the favicon you made to your website then add this to the head of your page:

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.yourdomain.com/favicon.ico" />

Like said above, your going to need a program to make your small icon...

However, IE does use it in favorites--it could promote return visitors by standing out more.

IE sometimes shows favicon... not all times but sometimes...
Opera-Mozilla-Firefox show them...

BTW: You need to put this between:
Code:
<head>
<!--Here the code-->
</head>
