Today I recieved my new 250GB hard-drive.
But when you install windows xp on it, windows xp will only regonize 137GB or less in my case "131062 MB" I Knew windows me could not go over 64Gb but to my knowledge windows xp should beable to go over 64Gb but why was'nt it.
So after some looking around I found out that it was an isssue with windows xp and that it had been fixed in sp1 and sp2.
So Ill have to format it from my dad's computer or maybe try windows xp sp2 boot up disks.
Anyhow I just wanted to let everybody know about this.
No it should not be a problem at all having two 100GB hardrives as they are both diffrent hard drive partitions.
But if you do get a 137GB hardrive or over for windows xp just install sp1 or sp2 and the left over space will become availble as unloacated disk space, just delete it and you will have your space back. _________________ My Blog | Microsoft Discussion
