NASA's Cassini spacecraft, which has been orbiting the solar system's second-largest planet since June, released the wok- shaped probe on Dec. 24. A timer woke the probe early today, and the first signals were received just after 11:30 a.m. German time, ESA spokesman Franco Bonacina said in a phone interview from the agency's Space Operations Center in Darmstadt, Germany. |

I hope they find something significant there...I'm sure they will...even if they don't, the sheer fact that it actually reached Saturn is also a nice achievement.
