Well I'm a bit late on this but...

| Picasa 2 rocks. There are tons more picture-editing tools, and captioning was a major feature that was missing from the original. |

You said it Intelliot  , the new release is just another excuse for me to continue using Picasa. I advise everyone to atleast give it one try.
