You’re absolutely right, google community has not lost hope and it will continue to be a successful community as long as we keep getting registered members who post useful information.

1. I'm not back-seat administrating. There's a difference in offering helpful ideas and demanding something. It's hard to back seat administrate when administration tasks can't be carried out by a regular member. And yes, I was bothered by the 100+ spam posts. As a moderator, you're supposed to be a role model for the rest of the members. They're supposed to trust you, and look up to you.
2. Mayur: I never blamed everything on you. I simply stated the truth. Isn't it true that you and Stuff2Do were the two spamming the forums with profane and inappropriate images? |

Randy, I still respect you as a moderator. Infact I never doubted you as one. You have always worked hard as one. You accomplished your work. But you also had your share in the "fun". I have nothing against you for the "100" spam posts or whatever. You were right on that but the "spam" was mostly in the longest thread ever. If you consider putting images in posts spam then... okay...
I'm glad you have decided to settle things calmly instead of going haywire. Out of courtesy, I'll opt out of this discussion. If I am guilty and should be banned, so be it.

You're so right Eric Straven. I haven't checked these forums in quite a while, because they are getting overcrowded with nonsense. Then I realized that the only way to solve this problem is not to hide from it, but to beat it in the face. I just hope that in 2 weeks when I am on break, everything will be back to normal so that I can continue to enjoy reading these forums. Otherwise, I shall henceforth be known as "Dr. Justin" because these forums are going to be cured when I'm through with them.
Btw: Eric, I never knew you considered me a respectable member. I will take that as a compliment, and I thank you.
I'm not sure I really understand fully what has been going on. Anyone care to enlighten me via a private message? I've gathered some things from a few posts, but I do not want to make accusations or change opinions of people until I have the true and whole story. Remember, I've been gone for a while, so while all of this spamming was going on, I wasn't exactly around. I was probably in Cisco class trying to figure out how I was going to pass the next test... |
