|
|
|
Hello,
I was curious if anything needs to be updated to make the googlecommunity page rank script work properly? I grabbed the source (which is posted) and get the dreaded: HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden in prtest.php on line 109
I believe the problem is with the $ch algorithm, but it could also be a user-agent or cookie not being set. However, it works on the example (http://www.googlecommunity.com/scripts/google-pagerank.php).
What's the difference between the example and the source? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brian |

Hmm, strange.
Which are you referring to? The example or the source on the website that you installed? |

Ok, then it sounds like we could both be saying the same thing -- it works on the example site, but not in implementation. |

| The example runs on the same script as the released source. Perhaps the difference lies with your webserver. |

intelliot, you're right. The problem I was experiencing lies in an experimental glib/c++/bintools combination which apparently has some bugs in floating-point operations. It won't compute negative exponents the script needs properly.
Thanks again. |
