No there is not. Google desktop search beta is designed to run on computers using Windows 2000 (Service Pack 3 or above) or Windows XP and Internet Explorer 5.0 or above.

Cuz google had developed a edition of Gmail interface for lower brower, i believe that Google will bring us a Desktop search for some others OS.
